I am Pastor Laurie Riley.  On July 1, 2022, I was appointed to Hudson UMC and am happy to  be here.  I have served churches across Iowa for the last 30 years and enjoy serving in smaller churches because I get to meet and work with the people who are connected to the church. I look forward to meeting you and finding out what ministries you would like to see here at Hudson UMC.

My name is Mary Rekers and I have been secretary here since September 2016.  I grew up in Janesville and currently call Cedar Falls home.  I am retired from the Black Hawk County Health Department where I was the fiscal manager for 35 years.  I also work as the box office manager for the Waterloo Community Playhouse and Black Hawk Children’s Theatre.  I enjoy working in my yard, UNI athletics, needle work, and spending time with friends and family.

melissa boeschen front 1I am Melissa Boeschen.  I am a busy wife and mother of 6 who resides in Dunkerton.  Music has been a huge part of my life since I was young.  I have been a part of providing music in church since 7th grade and later went on to get a degree in music from UNI.    In my (rare) free time, I enjoy spending time with family, reading and of course, music!

charlesI am Charles Mumm and have worked as the church’s custodian two different times for about fifteen years.  If not at the church, I work a full-time job as the front desk attendant at hotel, The Isle.
